Refund policy

At Mojams Afro Caribbean Online, we strive to provide you with the highest quality products and excellent customer service. However, we understand that there may be occasions where you need to return a product. Please read our returns policy carefully to ensure a smooth process.

Returns Eligibility:
Perishable items, such as fresh produce, cannot be returned unless they are faulty or significantly damaged upon arrival. In such circumstances, please see our return policy below.

Non-perishable items can be refunded pursuant to the return policy below.

Return Policy:
In order to be eligible for a return on the basis that (i) a perishable item is faulty or significantly damaged or (ii) you wish to return a non-perishable item, you must:

1) Contact our customer service team via email (mojamafrocaribbeanonline@gmail.com) within 48 hours of receiving your order.
If applicable, we may request photographic evidence of the damage or fault to assist with the return process.

2) If we ask you to do so, return the item to us at an address which will be provided to you together with a Returns Authorisation number which must be marked on the outside of your package - the item must be returned to us in within 7 days of receipt and must contain your order receipt inside the package. In respect of non-perishable items which are not faulty or damaged, the item must be returned in its original, saleable condition in order to qualify for a refund.

3) Once verified, at our discretion, we will offer either a replacement or issue a refund for the item. Please note that we do not refund delivery charges and you will be responsible for the cost of returning the item to us.

Please do not return any items purchased online to our store unless we ask you to do so, we are unable to process online returns in store.

Refunds:
Once we receive your return and verify its eligibility, we will process your refund within 5-7 business days.

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.
As mentioned above, shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or the item is faulty or damaged.

Exchanges:
We do not offer exchanges at this time.

Non-Returnable Items:

Certain items may be non-returnable for hygiene or safety reasons, such as opened food items, unless such items are faulty (see above).
